"The Rubliov Trinity: The Icon of Eternal Love"

This sacred image, written by the Russian monk Andrei Rubliov in the 15th century, represents the mystery of the Holy Trinity with profound spiritual beauty.

The three figures, with similar faces, express unity in divinity. They are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, represented as the three angels who visited Abraham (Gen 18).

🟡 On the left, the Father: dressed in an ethereal, translucent mantle, a sign of mystery.

🔴 In the center, the Son: wearing a brown (earth) and blue (divinity) robe, he bows his head in obedience to the Father and points to the chalice, a symbol of his passion.

🟢 On the right, the Holy Spirit: dressed in green, the color of life and renewal.

The chalice in the center unites the three. The house (symbol of the Father), the tree (the cross of the Son), and the mountain (ascension of the Spirit) complete the theological background.

The circle of the open table invites the viewer to enter into communion with this eternal love.

💬 To contemplate this icon is to pray with one's gaze. It is to allow oneself to be drawn by the love that unites the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
